Recently in the past year in Chenango Bridge, NY there have been several household cats come up dead from anti freeze poisoning, on top of a cat shot in the neck with a bb gun! When the Humane Society was called to investigate they did absolutely nothing. I am talking from experience one night my beloved cat Goofy came home and was acting almost as if he were drunk then within 2 hours his condition became fatal and he started having seizures every minute on the minute till the last moment of his horrible death. Now to me this is inhumane, and it should have been investigated, but it wasn't. Now what good is the Humane Society to us if they're not to protect animals? This is their creed after all isn't it? I'm just asking that each and everyone of you take a moment and think about this. What if this were your cat? What would you do? On top of that what are they going to do to the person who did this to all these animals in the area? I know who did it and still nothing happened. Let's bring justice for these animals because they CAN'T speak for themselves!!! On another note there are 2 dogs in my neighborhood who have been outside for a year since I moved in. They have not once been paid attention to, been taken inside, been given love, hugs, kisses. What do people feel their purpose is then? To sit on a leash and rot? I also want to bring justice for these animals. It is sad to think my dog is inside has loving, gets attention, gets petted, has a warm bed to lay on, toys to play with, and these two poor, innocent dogs, stay outside with no attention, no one to love, no one that cares, no warm bed to lay on, and yet again the person was turned in and nothing has been done. I really need justice for all these animals! Please help me!
Please keep in mind everyone who signs this, of course I know that this is a much bigger problem than just the Chenango Bridge area, but I feel that if we can help one animal at a time we can make this world a better place. This petition will go in front of the ASPCA and whoever I need to make it available for. Let's leave positive, constructive comments. Another response I got is that this will not do me any good if I have just a name and no proof! I have proof! Me and several of my friends were threatened at the same time in front of this person. So we all are the proof! These were household cats that were killed that had a home, not homeless cats, pests, or whatever some of you have called them. These animals had a right to walk around the neighborhood without harm because they are outdoor family cats!
