Reinstate Officer Diana Saxton with the Iowa Colony Police Department

On April 16, 2019, Officer Diana Saxton of the Iowa Colony Police Department was dismissed from duty without notice or cause given.

An 11-year law enforcement veteran, Officer Saxton is a popular & respected police officer who has been highly visible in the community. Her love of her community has developed into a strong and trusting relationship between the police department and the citizens it is sworn to protect. That bond is now in jeopardy.

The people of Iowa Colony also call into question the leadership of Chief Aaron Bell since he took over the department in February 2019. Half of the officers have left the department, and our community of almost 7,000 residents is left with only 2 full time officers, which is insufficient to protect our growing city. The unexplained dismissal of Officer Saxton weakens the security of our community and creates doubt about Chief Bell’s competence as our Chief of Police.

The residents of Iowa Colony demand an explanation as to the firing of Officer Diana Saxton and reinstatement of Officer Diana Saxton as a police offer with the Iowa Colony Police Department.
