Republicans in Florida are waging war on our education system by attempting to ban books that discuss women's issues, race, LGBTQ issues, and more. They're trying to whitewash and even erase key parts of history and keep kids from learning about important issues!

Thankfully, people are rightfully taking a stand in Florida. NBC News reported: "Penguin Random House, authors, parents and a free speech group filed a lawsuit Wednesday against a Florida school district for removing 10 books related to race and the LGBTQ community after a high school teacher complained." They allege that these book bans are in violation of the First Amendment.
