Tell Tesla not to deforest 740 acres for their new mega factory in Germany

Tesla plans to clear 740 acres of forested land in Germany for their new mega factory outside of Berlin. If Tesla is truly an environmentally friendly company as they say, they should aim to keep this land forested. They should purchase a different property that does not have negative environmental impact. For example, why not buy used farmland that is not viable for farming and plant trees after the factory is constructed? I have always thought Tesla was a great company, leading the way in helping the environment in the best way they can but this makes me think otherwise. Please sign this petition to ask Tesla to consider other properties with less negative environmental impact.
