I believe animals should be given rights. Anything that's living,breathing , has a heart and can feel happiness,sadness and pain has the right to life. Just because they cannot speak doesn't mean they shouldn't have rights. Some people cannot speak but that doesn't take away their rights , and shouldn't. So why should animals be treated any differently? They shouldn't!
We need to give animals a voice and the only way to do that is getting this petition signed and making changes to how the law treats our animals. Let's change the future for what we believe.Let's unite and make the future a brighter one for all animals.Some may argue that animal welfare and animal rights are seperate issues. The two are linked, if we give animal rights, then animal welfare will improve because penalties will be harsher for those that abuse animals.With no voice, the cruelty and neglect some of these animals face day to day will continue . If the laws change and people have to start abiding the law just like with humans, surely animals will live happier lives and their welfare will improve.Let's see tougher prison sentencing for causing unecessary suffering to man's best friend.Fight their corner, sign both petitions and make a difference.
