REPEAL THE AMERICAN HORSE SLAUGHTER ACT

Slaughtering horses for food is offensive to millions of Americans.  Whether horse meat is sold in the U.S. or abroad, horses are companion animals. They are defenseless and very devoted to their human counterparts. Permitting this slaughter is not only offensive, it is a violation of American Humane Laws.
