Castoreum is a beaver's castor sac, which carries their pheromones and territory marking. It is used as a tincture in many products such as perfumes/fragrances and as a food additive (examples: cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, non alcoholic beverages, chewing gum, hard candies, gelatins & puddings, frozen dairy, baked goods)
