Stop the Harm of MN Factory Farms

Factory farms harm Minnesota.

Factory farms pollute our environment, with manure and runoff contaminating Minnesota’s waterways and lakes.

Factory farms confine animals in tiny quarters, causing immense suffering and leaving them vulnerable to tragedies like the fire that killed nearly 200,000 chickens in a single Minnesota barn in 2022.

Factory farms and industrial slaughterhouses exploit vulnerable workers, like the Worthington and Marshall children found working in a meatpacking plant in 2022.

The White Earth Nation recently declared a moratorium on additional factory farms on their land, which covers territory in north-central Minnesota. But new farms are seeking zoning approval across the state, poses a grave threat to the quality of life for Minnesota's animals and people.
