Demand a Task Force to end Epidemic Horse Neglect and Dumping in Houston, TX NOW

Hundreds and Hundreds of horses are being abandoned throughout Houston, according to Captain Larry Baimbridge of the Houston, Texas police department. Discarded like trash, often where people dump couches or beds. The horses are usually neglected and abused, often emaciated. A sizeable portion of this horse dumping occurs in an area called Acres Homes.

While the Houston Humane Society and the Houston police department have partnered together to try to save these neglected horses, by their own admission, they aren't making any progress.

THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AT THE ROOT CAUSE. Saving the starving horses is addressing the symptom. THE PEOPLE NEGLECTING AND ABUSING THESE HORSES, NEED TO BE STOPPED.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, create a task force to hit hard these neighborhoods and people with a history of neglect and abuse. FINE THEM, JAIL THEM, PROSECUTE THEM before they dump the horses. STOP THE CYCLE!!
