The leader of Oklahoma schools, Ryan Walters, is the reason a school librarian is now in danger — as well as why a school district has suffered a slew of bomb threats. The Republican hasn't been shy about his fringe, "culture war" obsessed beliefs and was sure to post about them frequently. Walters shared a video from hate group LibsOfTiktok centering a librarian in at Union Public Schools, and even proclaimed "woke ideology is real and I am here to stop it."
It's no secret that the subjects of LibsOfTiktok videos are frequently doxed, harassed, and put in immense danger. Ryan Walters has no concern for the kids and staff he serves, he just cares about getting points on social media with the worst people you've ever met — he must be immediately impeached for the safety of kids in the Oklahoma public school system.
If Ryan Walters cares more about how his online perception comes off to homegrown terrorists than the students and staff he was hired to act in interest of, he doesn't belong within 50 feet of a school — let alone running every public school in an entire state.
