When authorities got a call about animal neglect at a property in San Joaquin county, California, they knew they'd have to follow up on it. But they had no idea what they would find.

At a woman's home, they discovered more than 150 animals. Of those, 98 were alive. Another 55 - a dog, a cow, and 53 horses - were dead.

Sign the petition to ban her from animal ownership now!

When authorities made contact with the woman, documents suggest that she actively threatened the officials involved. It wasn't until several months later that officials finally obtained a search warrant to fully investigate what was going on.

Permission to search her premises came after concerned citizens reported that other people were using one of her three properties to host a rooster fight. In that case, authorities found 30 dead roosters lying around, along with another 65 that were still surviving.

Even though the property owner wasn't involved in the rooster fight, her hands were still bloody with the death of animals. Out of the 90 horses, five donkeys, and three alpacas that were still alive, rescuers had to euthanize 15 animals because they were too ill from severe neglect. The rest of the animals are undergoing intensive treatments to nurse them back to health.

It's unclear how this woman accumulated so many animals to begin with, but from now on, we have to protect other animals by preventing her from accumulating any more. Sign the petition to demand that officials ban her from owning, working with, or living with animals again in the future!
