For anyone in Hays, Lacrosse or surrounding areas, our loving dog Zues is having to be put down in Lacrosse ks for vicious dog charges by district attorney Tony Rues. Zues is the sweetest dog you could ever meet and the city of Lacrosse is acting without cause or common sense. One day Zues got out as the backdoor was left open by accident and a guy was walking along the curb attached to our yard. Zues nipped at the guy when he wouldn't get off what he assumed was also part of his property. The nip didn't even draw blood and I have spoken to the vet clinic that had to house him for 10 days that said he is the sweetest dog. Another vet did an evaluation and concluded he is not vicious at all just a hipper young puppy! It was also determined by the sherriff that he was not a mean dog. Everyone but Tony seems to understand this dog is a sweetheart of a dog and this is unnecessary. This is absolutely ridiculous and an example of a city abusing its power and acting in a way that doesn't make sense. Whether this is a personal vendetta or this is the city and Mr. Rues just ignoring common sense and decency, we need your help to stop it. Please contact Tony Rues at 785-222-3736 or 785-222-3200 and ask that they show some compassion to a beautiful animal and a very distraught family. Also please sign petition to help save our dog. This dog is also my uncles golden retriever Murphy's pup and he deserves better than this. Please share with everyone you know especially dog lovers or anyone involved with animal cruelty and PETA. You can also call the city of lacrosse at 785-222-2511. Please help us by calling as early as possible tomorrow. He doesn't have much time. Raina Alm is also volunteering her 6 month dog behavior course to help our cause! Thank you anyone willing to help!
