1 in 6 people are living with arthritis. Sign now if you believe arthritis must be taken seriously.
Every month, around 30,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, and over 2,000 people are diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Many more live with arthritis but remain undiagnosed, untreated and unsupported.
Arthritis symptoms and conditions can differ from person to person, day to day and can affect people of all ages.
Some may be living with constant pain and fatigue, making daily tasks such as going to work, spending time with family or simply leaving the house difficult. This can take an extreme toll on both physical and mental health.
Despite this, arthritis is often dismissed as an inevitable part of ageing or shrugged off as 'just a bit of arthritis'. We don't think that this is OK.
Together we can support the 10 million people in the UK with arthritis and work towards a real hope of a cure in the future.
