DEMAND THE TENNESSEE LEGISLATURE ALLOW EXCEPTIONS FOR ABORTION FOR HEALTH OF THE MOTHER, OR IN CASES OF RAPE AND/OR INCEST

With the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe vs, Wade, Tennessee enacted a total ban on abortion from fertilization with no exceptions, effective August 25, 2022. Given the ramifications of this law on the health of a pregnant woman with serious medical conditions such as ectopic pregnancy, or forcing a girl or woman to give birth who was forced into sex are fundamentally inseparable cruelties. We the undersigned. demand the Tennessee State Legislature amend the restrictions on induced termination of pregnancy that took effect on August 25, 202, to include exception in case of rape, incest, and for the health of the woman,as determined by her doctor.
