Devindars childhood: Covered in dust and blisters

At age 6, Devindar hauls bricks all day instead of attending school. His tiny hands bleed from cuts and burns, his lungs choked by brick kiln fumes.

Devindar represents over 30 million children exploited in India. This is unacceptable. Every child deserves an education and safe upbringing. Too many boys and girls spend their fleeting childhoods trapped in backbreaking labour, squandering irreplaceable years.
