"I went to the local shelter planning to adopt a puppy. I never expected Harley, an older dog, would catch my eye. Harley, like thousands of homeless animals, was found wandering the streets and brought to a shelter. No one knew what Harley had been through, but one thing was clear -- Harley needed a home.

"Harley saw me eyeing him and his whole body started wagging with excitement. When he licked my hand, that sealed the deal. Now, Harley loves to run and play catch, but most of all he loves to snuggle beside me in bed."
