Ban Live Exports: Sign the Petition. Demand the Prime Minister Shows True Leadership For Animals.

On 25th May 2023, after 18 months of stalling, the UK Government withdrew the Kept Animals Bill that was set to ban live exports for slaughter or fattening from or through Great Britain. This is a betrayal of animals, and it's high time the Prime Minister delivered on a commitment to end such journeys.

Rather incredibly, we've seen other promises written "in stone" only to be broken over and over again: in the 2017 and 2019 Conservative Party Manifestos, in Defra's 2021 Action Plan for Animal Welfare, and in the 2022 Conservative Party leadership contest. When does this cycle of broken promises end? We have had enough, and I'm sure you have too.
