Tell Syrian Government: Stop Torturing Children!
A report by the UN Human Rights Council panel has found that at least 256 children have been killed by Syrian government forces between mid-March and early November. A two-year old little girl was even shot to death in order to "prevent her from growing up to be a demonstrator."
In attempts to stop an uprising against President Bashar Assad's regime, government enforcement have been been instructed to "shoot to kill". Syrian troops have absolutely no discretion, shooting numerous unarmed protestors, aiming for their heads and their chests.
Children are being treated with the same hostility and a severity as adults, some even being tortured to death! These crimes against humanity must cease immediately. Children should be spared from such horrendous fates, especially when they have no way to protect themselves. Demand that the Syrian government stop targeting children!
Dear President Bashar Assad,
The actions of your troops are inhumane and have no place in Syria. Children are at the most risk of danger and pose the least threat and yet they are being shot and tortured to death with no remorse or discretion.
Your troops have been ordered to shoot to kill unarmed protestors for no reason.They have committed a long list of crimes including murder, torture, rape, and other forms of sexual violence.

In no way does this type of behavior benefit the future of Syria. Stop this inhumane treatment immediately and demand that troops cease the torture and murder of children in Syria.
