Demand to End the cycle of waste: $100 million tax dollars Spent in 2024 on homeless encampment clean-up alone in California

The state of California spends an estimated $100 million in 2024 on homeless encampment clean up alone.

This is not just a one time expense for the year 2024. In the year 2017 it costs us 10 million for clean up and now 100 million in 2024 every single year!I t's a Careless and poor attempt to simply sweep the issue "under the rug".

This is money that should be used to provide real solutions putting a stop to California's ever growing homelessness crisis.

Demand that Congress stop this inappropriate waste of spending and instead invest in permanent housing for less cost annually. This would save taxpayers money and aide in stopping this cycle of homelessness.

THE TIME IS NOW CALIFORNIA TO

DEMAND CHANGE FROM CONGRESS 

* Invest in building tiny home communities as permanent or semi-permanent housing and make city governments prepare permanent living spaces before homeless encampment clean ups.

* Avoid costly shelters, which are proven not to be a solution to homelessness.

* Provide support services to help homeless individuals to achieve financial stability and transition to independent living. Putting an end to waste and create immediate solutions for less $$. 

DO NOT stand by watching millions becoming billions and billions of tax dollars get completely wasted.
