Every year millions of frightened animals worldwide are traumatized by the affects of noisy fireworks. For some this can impact their well-being not only in the short term but leave them permanently emotionally scarred or even worse. As the intelligent species, it is our duty to speak out on their behalf as they are unable to speak for themselves. Millions of pet owners witness the stress and trauma caused by the loud banging several times per year depending on your location. Also we need to consider wild animals who have no comprehension nor anyone to protect them from this terrifying noise, yet the solution is simple. No one wants to be a spoilsport to stop the pleasure enjoyed by colorful displays worldwide, which in some cultures are long standing tradition. There are now silent fireworks available which give an equally spectacular experience without the harmful noise we have become accustomed to. Surely it's time to change our selfish behavior and consider our fellow beings who don't have a voice in this matter.
