The law in British Columbia clearly says do not stop and question guide and service dogs, they have the right to be everywhere! Sadly that's not being Respected by business. Actually quite the opposite. For example Bus drivers have slammed their door shut, demand proof l, buses won't stop! Business turn guide and service teams away. Why? No vest, no card, that breed can't be a service dog! Thier conduct denying service, Not acceptable! The Guide and Service Act is a Voluntary program, and proof is not required stop demanding it! No pets policy strata and Land lords wouldn't argue and deny service if the government made them take Human Rights training! How could TransLink let drivers deny service when nothing was done wrong even remove guide and service dogs? It's very disrespectful when this happens! I personally have witnessed Business including restaurants taxis ferries how badly they treat guide and service dog teams! Thier conduct is very innapropriate! If anyone else witnesses a business owner employed or bus driver not being respectful to guide and service dog owner speak up! No right to treat guide and service dogs with such disrespect! Stop the discrimination and denying service now!!!
