Free Library Parking

The parking lot directly in front of 300 Nasser Civic Center Plaza Corning, NY, 14830 is a metered lot. The only occupants of this building are the Southeast Steuben County Library, Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center and the United Way. This means that anyone using the Southeast Steuben County Library or the Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center is paying for parking. These are important staples in our community that should be readily available for all families, with out the worry or hassle of paid parking.


Often when there are events you have to wait in line to pay for parking. This becomes unsafe as the meter is in the middle of the parking lot and may families with small children have no other option but to wait in line. Please support our community in removing the meter.
