Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas is one of the best schools in Nevada—and by many measures the best school. But it is in grave danger of losing a Campus.
One of our Eastgate Campus neighbors has repeatedly harassed the school, including (i) suing our landlord and the City of Henderson, (ii) objecting to our City permit, and (iii) indirectly forcing us to build a costly road to re-route traffic by his business.
He has already cost Coral Academy well over a hundred thousand dollars. That is taxpayer money we would rather have spent on textbooks, computers/technology, curriculum materials, teacher salaries, special-education services, robotics labs, athletic teams, etc.
In the neighbor's latest move, he asked the Court to permanently shut the Eastgate campus. He doesn't care that the lives of 650 children and nearly 40 staff would be completely and forever upended.
Please sign this Petition if you agree that:
(1) our neighbor's impact on Coral Academy is already sad and upsetting;
(2) if the Court were to close the Eastgate Campus, that would be nothing less than catastrophic—i.e., the educational, emotional, financial, and other costs to Coral Academy families would be tragic and overwhelming; and thus
(3) the Court should not close the Eastgate Campus.
