Thank Liz Cheney for endorsing Kamala Harris

Former GOP representative Liz Cheney -- one of the few Republicans left with any guts or moral fiber -- just announced that she endorses Kamala Harris, and will vote for her in November.

"Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris," Cheney said in a video of remarks posted to X. The university separately provided a clip of Cheney's remarks to NBC News.

The former congresswoman said in her remarks that it is "crucially important" for people to understand that people do not have "the luxury of writing in candidates' names, particularly in swing states." (source)

We may disagree with her on just about every issue, but it took guts for her to stand up to Trump -- and hardly any other Republican did. And she deserves credit.
