The recent arrest of a nurse involved in a harrowing series of newborn injuries at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, has left the community in shock. It is unfathomable that such harm could come to the most vulnerable – our children – in a place where they should be safest. How could such repeated harm continue undetected? How deep does this issue run within their systems? These are questions that need answers now.
