STOP Withholding Food as Punishment to our PreSchoolers and Elementary Children

Please help to STOP withholding food as punishment to our

children in Pre K and Elementary classes in South East MO

At daycare, It is not allowed and illegal to deny a child any nutricious food, snack or drink. At our public schools snack time is a privelege but the rules should not be any different then at our daycares. Healthy and nutricious snacks are allowed to be denied our children as punishment for a very small act such as talking during nap time as punishment. This is an idiocracy. NO YOUNG CHILD should be denied a healthy snack such as fruit as PUNISHMENT ! There are countless ways for children to be reprimanded for misbehavior at our schools such as sitting out at recess. There is NO REASON to give a classroom full of children a nutricious snack but one child for a minor misbehavior. This is reinforcing a negative attitude in several ways for our children. Taking food away from our children as punishment at public schools is CRUEL!
