Pet safety on the Fourth of July

This has been repeated ad nauseum, but pets and fireworks simply don't mix! If you are going to include fireworks with your barbecue on the 4th of July, please make sure your pets remain indoors. Cats should be in a quiet, dark room with the shades drawn, and dogs should remain in your home.
