Millions of Americans are battling Parkinson's, and the National Plan to End Parkinson's Act could help dramatically accelerate the race for better treatments and a cure.

So why are Senate Republicans blocking it?

The National Plan to End Parkinson's Act is modeled after the National Alzheimer's Plan which helped quadruple federal research investment, and is already bearing fruit and raising hope.

And yet, even though the Parkinson's Plan has broad support across the political spectrum, Senate Republicans are refusing to get on board so it can actually become law.
