Dear Neighbors,
Our Borough's logo should reflect our community—not corporate interests. In 2017, Chester Heights adopted its first-ever Borough logo, a design that symbolized our town's unique character. However, in 2018, a newly elected Communications Committee decided to replace it, stating they "didn't particularly care for the old one."
Now, we have the opportunity to restore the original 2017 logo, ensuring that our Borough's identity remains rooted in community values, not corporate branding. As a municipality, we have a responsibility to maintain a neutral and representative image, rather than adopting symbols that could create the appearance of favoritism—especially toward entities we have a regulatory obligation to oversee.
