A man in Murfreesboro, TN beat a puppy to death. Before he killed this puppy he broke it's leg and it had to be cut off! According to the news story, he will be given no more then a slap on the wrist! The citation is equivalent to a parking ticket. What part of this is right or even fair? Animals are a lot like kids. If you harm a child, you are severly punished.
Just because an animal can not speak, does not mean it can not feel. A baby can not speak, but it is a felony to lay your hands on it. What I so different with an animal?
These laws need to be changed!!!!!!! Help me make a stand here and make a difference. This may only be just one case, but change starts with one person taking a stand for what is right. Together, we can make our voices heard! Make sure this man never harms another animal. If he can kill a puppy, he can kill a baby!!!!!!!!!
Animal abuse laws need to be more severe. People are allowed to harm and even kill animals with nothing more then a slap on the wrist and nothing but a joke fine. Animals are helpless, just like babies. We need people like the one in the video to be punished with greater severity and even be banned from having anymore pets. If people like this can kill an animal for no reason, they can kill a baby!
