Etsy, an online craft marketplace, has a global network of more than one million sellers. Over 9,000 of their retailers sell fur from all over the globe.
In accordance to U.S. law, Etsy does not allow its retailers to sell the fur or skins of dogs, cats, and endangered species. But all other furs are fair game.
Just because it's legal in the U.S. to sell most furs, it does not mean it is the right thing to do. Whether they are trapped or "farmed" for their fur, animals experience extreme pain and suffering.
We need to put a stop to this cruelty. By allowing these retailers to sell fur in their online marketplace, Etsy is complicit in the murder and scalping of innocent animals for fur coats and trimmings.
Please sign this petition demanding that Etsy stop opening up their marketplace to those who sell fur. Let them know you will not support or buy anything from them until they remove those retailers from their site.
