Save a species on the brink of extinction. Black-footed ferrets Petition

Black Footed Ferrets Once ranged over a large area across the Great Plains/Rocky Mountain states and 1 Canadian province and found on black-tailed prairie dog colonies across the Great Plains from southern Canada to northern Mexico, and on white-tailed and Gunnison's prairie dog colonies across the intermountain west. By 1986 they were completely gone from the wild. The last eighteen were rescued and put into breeding programs. The numbers being raised they reintroduced the black footed ferret back into the wild. They are in grave danger and may go extinct in the wild again. The prairie dogs are being poisoned in the States that the ferrets were introduced in.

Prairie dogs may be a nuisance, but could be kept under control if their predators were not on the cusp of extinction. Poisons that kill prairie dogs are detrimental to the black footed ferrets. The prairie dog is the primary prey.
They eat poisoned prairie dogs and ultimately die. They live in prairie dogs burrows and poison could be in the burrows as well.

Please help urge the States mentioned to not poison prairie dogs and to help the black footed ferrets survival by saving land for them to thrive on. They are the most endangered mammal in the United States of America.
