Unfair Alltel to At&t Free Replacement Phone!

Current Utah Alltel wireless customers expecting At&t Wireless to make good it's promise to replace the Alltel CDMA wireless devices with an equal value At&t GSM wireless device, have been disappointed to find the available smart phone choices an unacceptable downgrade.  Particularly, owners who have purchased the Blackberry devices known as TOUR and BOLD 9600 and 9700 series devices.  The current equal value replacement phone offered as a free equal value replacement, is a Blackberry CURVE 9300 series.  The nearest comparable Blackberry device offered for this transition is a Blackberry TORCH 9800 series, which requires signing a new contract and paying an additional $100.  Although this option is a considerable device upgrade, existing Alltel customers will lose out on the benefits accrued from being longtime loyal Alltel customers. Current data plans offered by At&t do not fill the needs of  these Alltel customers, which is why they were Alltel customers in the first place.  This leaves them no fair choice. The logical remedy for this unfair offer would be to provide the Blackberry Device BOLD  as the free equal replacement in the equivalent GSM counterpart.  These devices are offered by At&t in their current product lineup:

We the undersigned petition for fair free equal replacement smartphone devices offered under the transition of the Alltel market in Utah to At&t.  Alltel customers who purchased high end Blackberry devices are being offered an unfair downgrade from the devices purchased under their Alltel contracts. These devices are still in new or good working order, and we find the offered free equal replacement devices an unfair resolution.  Calls placed to customer representatives have yielded answers in the negative for redress.  We, therefore, the undersigned to petition for fair redress and speedy resolution of the issues related.
