Brazil's shame: World's biggest chinchilla killer for the fur trade

I am ashamed to tell you that Brazil has become the leading country when it comes to the raising and killing of chinchillas to supply the world's fur trade.The cruelty related to these chinchilla's farm industries is unthinkable:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX_VkgVsUycRecently a brazilian firm,called Unichinchila, was awarded by the brazilian authorities  with a prize for hurting and killing so many os these innocent creatures. This is totally unaacceptable for a large majority of brazilian citizens. Brazil has become the leading exporter of these darling creatures' fur. Unfortunately this country is still behind any major conquest in relation to animal rights. Animals in Brazil have the legal status of "things", whose lives are in the hands of barbaric economic interests.Please sign this petition asking for this trade to have an immediate end.
