Pot For Pets, Demand Testing!

There is anecdotal evidence that marijuana can be used medicinally to help pets with anxiety. But the federal government is standing in the way of folks who'd like to research how pot could be used safely and effectively for pets.

Sign the petition to tell the DEA to remove marijuana from the list of Schedule I banned substances, and for the FDA to greenlight researchers trying to learn how and if marijuana and CBD oil for cats and dogs is safe and useful.

It's horrible watching your pet suffer from anxiety.
I have a dog who panics and shakes whenever he hears a loud noise. I can't reason with him or teach him to breathe deeply like I could with a human. Instead, he suffers for hours and hours. If marijuana could effectively keep him calm, I want to know about it ASAP.

No one can make an informed decision without this research. Without it, people may be dosing their animals incorrectly and harming them. If the FDA allowed scientists pet guardians to participate in clinical trials to help their pets and find out what's safe and effective, then guidelines could be disseminated and everyone would be healthier and happier.

We have the tools to find out whether this is a solution for our beloved animals. Now all we need is to convince the FDA and DEA to cut the red tape and let us learn.
