Raise the Driving Age to 18

We feel that the driving age should be raised to 18. Young drivers should have more driving experience before getting their license, along with more life experience.
We feel that the driving age should be raised to 18. By 18, teens do have and increased maturity level from when they were 16. Think about yourself and your thought process when you were 16 and then 18. There is a big difference. Some argue that the change will penalize the responsible 16 year olds who do not drink. But we beleive that drinking isn't the prime factor. It is lack of maturity and experience. Infringing on the rights of a rare 16 year old is a small price to pay for saving lives. These young drivers need both driving and live experience before hopping behind the wheel of one of the most dangerous pieces of machinery.
