PET FOOD RECALL!! MENU FOODS MAY BE TESTING ANIMALS WITH THEIR TAINTED PET FOOD

Retract: (Mike Zafirovski as current Menu Foods CEO)
RevisedTarget: Paul Henderson, CEO, Menu Foods

Menu Foods may be testing/killing animals to determine the cause of  illness and death associated with their recalled pet food. We would like Menu Foods to be honest and forthcoming about whether they are testing/killing animals as part of their investigation into the cause of the tainted pet food. If so, we would like Menu Foods to discontinue all animal testing in this manner.

..."The FDA on Monday said that as many as one in six animals died in tests of suspect dog and cat food by the manufacturer after complaints the products were poisoning pets around the country."...

Please let Menu Foods know that you do not support the testing of animals to determine the cause of illnesses and death associated with their recalled pet food. When humans become ill as a result of tainted food, we do not force healthy humans to eat the tainted food to determine the cause - it would be morally and ethically repugnant to consider such an approach. Why should Menu Foods be held to a different standard when it comes to our furry friends? It would be  quite similar to  the FDA or CDC testing on the homeless  or children living in adoption centers. Please sign and send along!
