We’re currently on the brink of the largest mass extinction since the dinosaurs. Protect Endangered species and their habitats.

Almost 200 species have gone extinct in the past century, and billions of animal populations that once roamed the Earth have vanished completely.

Threats to endangered wildlife are immense: deforestation, human encroachment, poaching, and climate change. But we know these challenges are NOT insurmountable: Wildlife Conservation Society is on-the-ground in 60 countries around the world safeguarding critical habitats, working to end wildlife poaching and trafficking, and advocating for stronger policies to preserve the most beautiful, biodiverse treasures this planet has to offer: the wildlife and wild places we love.

The Endangered Species Act (ESA) has been the gold standard for conservation legislation for a reason: 99% of species listed on it have avoided extinction.

New rules introduced in the last few years have weakened this cornerstone conservation law, making it harder to protect wildlife from the threats of climate change and habitat loss. Some of these terrible rules are in the process of being reversed, but more must be done.

We must not lose ground where irreplaceable species are at stake. Say you'll stand with us to not only return the ESA to its former strength but also to go even further in protecting our planet's most endangered species.
