And if we don't act, the scorching summer weather some places have been feeling may become commonplace. The average American will likely see twice to three times as many 95 degree days a year by 2050 — with some regions seeing months of 95 degree days a year!

As part of an unprecedented global pact — the Paris Agreement — heads of state from 196 nations pledged to take steps to prevent catastrophic climate change and ensure a cleaner, safer planet for future generations.

This historic agreement comes after months and years of tireless efforts on the part of committed nature lovers like you.

But our work together isn't over. Now, we must hold nations accountable. It's time to call on them to act on concrete steps to cut harmful carbon emissions and combat climate change.
