Stop the UK government’s plan threatening nature

Did you know big business could soon be allowed to wreck the environment and destroy nature? The new Planning and Infrastructure Bill could mean damaging projects get the green light so long as developers chip in a few quid to a new "nature restoration fund".

Ripping up nature protections might please businesses, but it won't safeguard people or nature. Instead of restoring nature, this fund could end up as nothing more than firefighting environmental harm. Wouldn't it be better not to threaten nature in the first place?

The UK government seems all too keen to say this is a straight choice between bats and better housing. This tired rhetoric distracts from the real issues and is dangerously shortsighted. If you agree, add your name now.
