Help Prevent the Proposed Ban on Ferrets in Chicago!

To make people aware of the proposed ban on Exotic Animals in Chicago, make them aware that ferrets are included, and give them a chance to speak up.

On behalf of the many ferret owners, ferret lovers, shelters, groups, and associations, but especially the Greater Chicago Ferret Association, I am creating this petition to save our cherished pets and family members. These animals aren't wild and don't carry diseases. To put a ban on ferrets in Chicago is just as logical as banning hamsters. Ferrets are the third most popular house pet. Dogs being the first, and cats second. Obviously these animals are endearing and loving creatures to have won the hearts of so many! We need signatures to prevent losing out little furkids!
