Animal Abuse Registry

This is Parker. He was adopted on a free adoption day in Rochester NY. He is only 4 months old. The people who adopted him were instructed the URI is common in shelter animals and gived a free vet voucher. They declined to get Parker treatment. A wonderful group Another Chance Pet Rescue now has Parker. He underwent emergency surgery Sunday to have what was left of his eye removed after it ruptured. There was a proposed Animal Abuse Registry vote in Monroe County last night. The Republican Party without wanting to look at any evidence as to way this should be put into effect voted it down. It wouldn't cost any tax payer money. Money collected as fines as a result of those found guilty would be used to fund the registry. Please sign this petition to let those who turned it down know that animals have rights and we the people are their voice and we will fight for them.
