In a shocking affront to our democracy and the ideals upon which it was founded, Trump sycophant Andy Ogles has proposed amending the U.S. Constitution to allow Trump a THIRD term.
"President Trump's decisive leadership stands in stark contrast to the chaos, suffering, and economic decline Americans have endured over the past four years. He has proven himself to be the only figure in modern history capable of reversing our nation's decay and restoring America to greatness, and he must be given the time necessary to accomplish that goal," said Ogles. The idea is preposterous, horrendous, and must be immediately squashed by the House of Representatives.
NO third term for Trump!
What's more obvious is that Ogles is trying to distract everyone from the looming investigation into allegations of campaign finance fraud and curry favor with Trump — but to do so in this manner is beyond the pale.
America is a democracy. We do not have kings, and we will never have kings. Ogles' proposal would bring us one step closer to authoritarianism, and we must stop it dead in its tracks.
