Have you ever heard a bear cub cry because he is chained to a wall where he has to stand upright or he will choke? Have you ever seen a tiger so amaciated that he looks like a fossil on the floor? Have you ever seen an orca so sunburnt from floating endlessly at the top of her tank that her sunburn has to be covered by Zinc Oxide?
Animals aren’t actors, spectacles to imprison and gawk at, or circus clowns. Yet thousands of these animals are forced to perform silly, confusing tricks under the threat of physical punishment; are carted across the country in cramped and stuffy boxcars or semi-truck trailers; are kept chained or caged in barren, boring, and filthy enclosures; and are separated from their families and friends—all for the sake of human “entertainment.” Many of these animals even pay with their lives. - PETA
Animals have rights too, just because they can’t tell us how they are feeling doesn’t mean they’re not feeling at all. They have hearts and they feel emotion and pain just like us.
