Demand Regulation of Consumer Pesticide and Herbicide Use

Any adult can freely purchase concentrated biocides, insecticides, or herbicides from their local hardware or home-improvement store. These toxins are often applied liberally to properties, without regard for our most vulnerable neighbors' health, or proximity to public waters and stormwater/drainage systems.Currently, there are virtually no limitations on when, how, or how much of these toxic chemicals can be used in most municipalities. And while you may think those "seasonal allergies" are purely related to pollens and mole spores, it's possible  the airborne particulates, dispersed solutions, and off-gases associated with these toxins can be contributors to our adverse health issues.  Many of these damaging chemicals are making our own yards some of the most dangerous places our children could play in. Furthermore these poisons are compromising precious eco-systems and pollinators that foster overall sustainability.

Negating controls on the use of these consumer (residential)  poisons is a deadly oversight that can be better managed with your help.
