Victoria’s Secret is a high-end classy that has recently agreed to start selling their products in China, requiring them to pay for cruel and prehistoric tests on animals. It is surprising to learn that this retailer is now letting down their compassionate consumers with this option to engage in animal cruelty through testing on animals for cosmetics. Victoria’s secret is actually owned by L Brands, Inc., and they are fully aware that the Chinese Government has specific requirements in animal testing for cosmetics; however, the retailer chooses to move forward anyways.  Other companies owned by L Brand like La Senza, Henri Bendel and Bath & Body Works have chosen not to make the move to sales in China in their commitment against animal cruelty practices. Numerous compassionate consumers are now speaking out in an outrage against companies that engage in such practices.

Several retailers as listed in the above article made a pledge never to sell in China while animal tests are required. The effort in this petition is to urge Victoria’s Secret to follow suit to be 100 percent cruelty-free again. You can join in this effort by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own thoughts and comments to support anti-cruelty practices by this retailer.

Victoria's Secret CEO Sharen Jester Turney – I was extremely disturbed to learn that your retailer will be selling products in China where animal testing is required.  Such testing is cruel and unjust, promoting animal cruelty.  Your loyal and compassionate consumers are highly disappointed because of relying on your brand for past years of cruelty-free policies.  You will be losing many past customers including myself if you continue to engage in a new decision to sell in China where animal testing and cruel practices are required.  Do not pay for and allow testing on animals for products that you sell.  Continue to be cruelty-free!
