Furman University Dance Classes

Furman University has great music, theatre, and art programs. However, there are currently no dance courses offered by the university. We petition that Furman start offering dance classes for credit to supplement their theater and music programs and to add more options for the Health and Wellness requirement. Adding dance courses will benefit Furman's liberal arts education by broadening perspectives and facilitating new opportunities. It will allow students to learn about the different cultures of dance and teach them different ways to express their ideas.
