Petition to Build a Statue Dedicated to Bill Russell at USF

Bill Russell is arguably the best basketball player of all time. He also is highly supported for his public service, standing up for civil rights and recently receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In addition to winning 11 NBA titles with the Boston Celtics, Mr. Russell also won two NCAA Championships for the University of San Francisco. Recently, the Boston Celtics announced that they will build a statue in his honor. USF should do the same and build Mr. Russell a statue at USF's War Memorial Gymnasium.
