President Obama signed the settlement legislation on December 8, 2010. The Cobell Settlement has been ongoing for several years, and the process seems to be a history of lies of promises to pay, greed of attorney's, and lack of concern for the people, who, by law, are entitiled to the settlement. The Garden City Group "GCG" has stated payment will be made 'sometime' in 2014, which does not provide clarity or assurance of payment. This delay is placing financial burdens on many Native American families, who are expecting payments and facing financial hardships while waiting on the settlement.
We are so glad you're here and working with us to help ALL Trust Account beneficiaries (Native American families), receive their Cobell payment checks as soon as possible. Thanks! for getting involved - - we couldn"t do it without you!
