Save Springwater Park!

Please sign this petition asking Michael Gravelle, Minister of Natural Resources to keep Springwater Park open.

Springwater Park Is a beautiful park with open areas for people to play sports with gorgeous trails for walking or hiking ,picnic tables and pavilions perfect for family reunions or just a picnic lunch with your family.

The ministry has stated that the park will remain a protected area ,open for hiking but what this means is they will no longer maintain the grounds. So, gone are the open areas to throw the frisbee or baseball with your children ,gone are the beautifully maintained walking paths and gone, the security of a safe environment protected by provincial staff.

For me personally this is where my husband and I were married ,we spent many days with our children and had many wonderful family reunions. I would hate to see this beautiful park close.
